Clay Cooley Suzuki - Car Salesman Review from Dallas, Texas
Where do I began I went to clay Cooley on composite dr in Dallas. My car salesman was great but the manager Mike Mays is a jack ***. 1st he tried to get me in a 2010 BS Altima when I went in for a challenger and he wanted $3000 down. I left the lot because I was in no way putting $3000 down on a base model 2010 used Altima. So today 5/10/14 I was texted and told that the Camero Would work to come out there because today is the day to lose money. Now mind you I'm at my daughters graduation but I was told they couldn't hold the car and to come now before it's gone because it's worth it. My brother is a car salesman so he called mike on 3 way and asked him what am I really approved for he said I'm approved for the camero with $4500 down my brother said no never mind I'll send her somewhere else he said she got $2500 that's it not a dollar more mike said tell her to come on test drive it and she's in and out in 30 mins with $2500 down it's a done deal. So I leave my babies graduation run up there and the salesman was like I got bad news but I'll let u talk to mike so I wait and was told well ms Davis if you got $4500 we can make it work but we got a nice Eclipse we can get you in. ARE U SERIOUS I WAS TOLD $2500 CAMERO 30 MINS ILL BE DONE I WENT OFF I WAS SO HURT AND RAGING MAD AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT I WAS TOLD OVER THE PHONE WITH WITNESSES HE SAID IF I WAIT IT WILL BE GONE AND TO COME NOW WITH $2500 AND THATS WHAT I DID THEN HE TOLD ME WELL IM NOT GO LOSE MONEY FOR U SO GO ON BACK TO YOUR CHILDS GRADUATION JUST STRAIGHT HEARTLESS BUT YOU HAD ME LEAVE THE GRADUATION TALKING ABOUT MAD I WAS CRYING SO BAD I FELT SO *** *** OMG BUT I HAVE FILLED A COMPLAINT I HAVE TEXT MESSAGES FROM OTHER SALESMEN WHO SEEN HOW I WAS TREATED AND APOLOGIZED ON HIS BEHALF I TALKED TO OUR FAMILY LAWYER AND WE WILL BE FILLING A AUTO FRAUD CLAIM AGAINST HIM AND THE COMPANY ON MONDAY FIRST THING I KNOW THEY ARE SALESMEN BUT TO BE HEARTLESS, LYING HYPOCRITES IS ANOTHER. Terrible Customer Service & Service
Clay Cooley Suzuki in Arlington, Texas is a JOKE. When I called, they kept me on hold for 30 minutes each time and never kept me informed of the status of the service of my vehicle. Eddie, service manager, is also a JOKE. They have held my vehicle hostage for a week and told me they don't know where the part is that they supposidly ordered (transmission assembly). They said the part is on order but they don't know where it is. PLEASE DON'T BUY A CAR OR TAKE A CAR IN FOR SERVICE HERE. They are unprofessional and shady.

Horrible customer service
not a question but a comment this is yet another time I went in thinking I was going to receive stellar service and this time not only was I held hostage in a sense I was crying when I left at the arrived there to speak with Ms Delilah whom to my surprise had not been told by Mr. Demetrius who the sales agent I had had a bad incident in the previous week (he text messaged me and said Mr.Cooley wanted the mans Name to which I told him Larry White and I walked in thinking she had already been given this information and she had not and I had told him several days prior) but anyways when I got there I had informed them I had just come from the Dr. and my son had been seen for fever and he was feeling better at the moment but he hadn't had any medicine. I was told it wouldn't take long, to make a long story short 3 1/2 hrs later after asking for my keys at least 10 times I still had not seen my keys I even texted Mr. Demetrius and and asked for them and called and said I had to get my daughter from school and was told cant I get someone else? my sons fever went up during this time he is flushed red and I am begging for my keys after sitting there and finding they cannot assist me which I am fine with and still calm after I have been sitting there for 3 hrs to get to Mr Pierce whom as he walked up I said I just need my keys and I can go (Demetrius had just told me and had me sign that he was going to take 500 down and I would pay 450 a month after I had informed him that 450 was pushing it for me and I was ready to go tired my son was sick and constantly begging for my keys I finally agreed to the 450 he said he would have me out of there in 10-15 mins I said I was counting I had to go I even begged him to call me and tell me the figured over the phone and if I liked what I heard I WOULD COME BACK I WAS STILL DENIED MY KEYS BY DEMETRIUS at approximately 620 Mr Pierce came over and was asking for 1400 down at this point I am beyond ready to go I asked for my keys again he paged Demetrius so he can bring my keys I said sir I cannot give you that I told Demetrius what I can do now this man dosent even know me we have had no convs prior to this and he is pushing like Mr. white was which was why I was irritated with him. I tell him I am walking to the door I take my sick sons hand and proceed to walk to the door and am still asking for my keys and mr pierce says one moment and runs behind the glass and he comes back out ask me to sit down he is trying to go over figures again I am still asking for my keys at this point I am irritated beyond belief that no one is listening to me I am not sure if its because I am a woman in there by myself or what the issue is but I am not being heard I tell him I told you what I could do and your still pushing I want my keys your not listening and instead of Demetrius who is sitting there explaning to this man she ias been here for awhile I promised her one thing your telling her something else he watches this guy be rude to me even go as far as telling me that I shouldn't have brought my sick child in there what??? as I stated before earlier my son was not running A FEVER WHEN WE FIRST GOT THERE I was beyond humiliated and left crying as he and ANOTHER GENTLEMAN WAS SAYING TO JUST IGNORE ME AND WALK AWAY AND MR DEMETrius said noting beyond done with this company and want to talk to corporate about there etiquette at this dealership and how they treat customers I felt like I was held hostage and treated improper if I was a man would I have been treated this way? I want to speak with mr cooley and corporate

Clay Cooley. Mayra is a bad salesperson!!!
Clay Cooley is a real bad dealership. I was trying to buy a 2011 Dodge Charger and they said the payments were going to be almost $500 a month. Instead, they wanted to sell me a brand new Suzuki for real low payments. Since, those cars are bad people don't eventually buy them, the sellers are trying to make profit from it. Well they sold me a Chrysler Sobrin 2008 for low payments. But,(here's the but part)they did not give it to me clean. Two days later my wheel started to vibrate and the oil change light came on. so, we made an appointment. Saying they can't fix it, chryslar dealer has to do it. They added on tinted windows and the salesperson(Mayra) said she would pick it up after they would fix it and would take it to get ti washed. When they called me to pick it up it was not washed.Mayra said,"Oh well we can still do it if you want to wait", im like really you want me to waste more time? if you knew they couldn't washed it then why did you say you were going to take it?? I was pissed! We made another appointment for the engine light and they said they were going to reset it. We had 57,some miles and when we received it the miles were 54,some. It is fraud! They lie and steal and Mayra is a bad sales person! She told my mom that she has nothing to do she just sold the car and thats it. I recommend Kenny for helping us and Oliver. Mayra just wanted commission and knew we needed a car. Yea we did but not a junk car.

Screwed on my financing at Arlington Clay Cooley Suzuki
I had obtained my own financing before going to the dealership in Arlington. I was approved for approx. 23k. After selecting my car, the salesman kept going to the back to work out some of the arrangements and kept coming back telling me I could not use my own financing if I wanted the deal to go through. I never quite understood why I couldn't use my own financing, but before agreeing to use their financing, I asked the underwriter who the financing bank would be. He gave me the name of the bank, and I felt quite satisfied that when I left, I could then have my loan refinanced through the bank I had already selected. When I finally received the paperwork in the mail from the financial instution, I was very suprised to see that it was the same bank I had gone into their dealership with to begin with. So in the end, they used the same bank where I had already secured a lower financing rate, but charged me around 3 percent higher for 6 years, and of course, this bank would not refinance their own loan. I was very upset, called the dealership where I was given some other *** story. I requested to have it explained to me in person. They said I had to see the underwriter. I made an appointment with this guy, which of course, he said he could not see me after 5pm any day of the work week or on the weekend despite them being open on Saturday. So, I made an appointment and missed work in order to meet him. When I got there, guess what, the guy wasn't even due to be at work for another 4 hours. I was very upset and asked them to have the man call me to set another appointment. He never called me back. I contacted the dealership through many methods, their online chat, by phone, and in person, but never could get anyone to sit down and explain why they did this to me. I recieved a customer satisfaction call one day and when the woman heard what happened to me, she called me back and said "i know this in no way makes up for what happened to you, but I have arranged 3 free oil changes and 3 free detailing on your car." The first time I went for the oil change and detailing, I had to make an appointment, they said my dad could drop off the car and they would give him a ride home as there was already a recall on his 2012 vehicle and it would take most of the day. We had to wait almost 2 weeks to have this appointment as they said no one was available to drop him off until this particular day. My dad goes up there, and guess what? No one was there to give him a ride home. I now have to leave work to go pick him up. When I called for the 2nd oil change and detailing, now they said they had no record of this being promised to me and the woman said she never made such an arrangement. They did go ahead and do the oil change, but I was told that in no way would they ever promise to do detailing on a car, that is just not their way. I asked them, then why did you do the detailing on the first visit?? They told me that there would be no 3rd free oil change. By the way, the first oil change came free anyways, that was part of the sale. I think you got an idea now what to expect from Clay Cooley. By the way, I emailed Clay Cooley personally and he never got in touch with me either.

Clay cooley suzuki dallas
I was financing a 2007 ford taures from them and within the first week their was a problem with the transmission I was stranded in grapevine and had to tow mt car home, I complained about the problem since this was within the first week they towed the car from my house in fort worth back to their arlington dealership. In the meantime they put me in an identical car as a loaner until my car was serviced and that car had transmission problem so they put me in a third car. I was stranded in dallas a couple of months later sure to the clamps on the battery not being the right size and the starter going out I had to get a tow from dallas back to fort worth I paid for the starter cause those do go out. Then again at night on my way home the transmission goes out again I have to get a tow from arlington to fort worth I have the receipts for all clay cooley picks their car up from my house and says they will look at the vehicle. The service manager in dallas says they are putting a rebuilt transmission in the car but when I call the service rep at the arlington dealership gary he says they (the dallas dealer) isn't going to pay for it and I must replace the transmission myself. I've worked for several car dealerships I was internet manager at one in arlington and every dealership is supposed to do a safety inspection on a vehicle before it's fit tip drive on the road. It's my opinion that they are buying cars with problems doing very little our just enough to get customers to be able to drive off the lot and then within a week our month our two the true problems with these vehicle becomes apparent and then the customers are left their having to fix the problems. I spoke with a manager hanna at the dallas dealership and she insisted that I signed a piece of paper so I bought it as is, which is exactly my point. Then she asked why didn't I but a car from another dealership implying that my credit want good enough which had nothing to do with the complaint or why my vehicle was in their service department to begin with. They are unethical, rude and by far the worst dealership I have ever been to and I worked in three myself and know what goes on there. Moral of this story I'm not spending one more dollar of my money on their junk car, all mt payments have been on time but they can repo it, stay clear of this dealership.

Mistake #1 - Buying a suzuki
Tip #1 - Please learn how to tell a story - your post is so rambled I'm not sure what the *** you are talking about.
Tip #2 Start at the beginning - and go towards the end..
Example: I was having a problem with my car and so I decided to take it into the dealer for service even though they were really bad the last time I was there. I told them I was in a hurry because my son was sick....
